Back in the dark days, before technology ruled all, the allergic and otherwise at risk got creative in protecting themselves. Medical ID bracelets managed to look good and creatively explain to paramedics and other concerned folks that a severe bee allergy was likely the reason a person was rolling on the ground and frothing at the mouth.

Today we can fit infinitely more information onto the tiniest of spaces but only seem to take advantage of the technology to share music and transport files for work. Think of the infinite number of emergencies that could be adverted with an emergency drive carried in a safe place. Stolen passport? Medical emergency? Good news: you backed all that information up and its hanging from a small jump drive around your neck.

The process is simple. Pick the right drive. Upload the appropriate files and label clearly. Use an encryption software to protect non-medical info such as bank account and passport info. Mark the drive with the red cross. Wear it.
