Designer Jinsun Park has designed the Color Picker concept, a marker that is made with a color sensor and ink cartridges.
When you spot a color that you would like to use in the real world, simply scan the sample with one end of the pen, which will detect the color and use the RGB cartridge to mix the necessary inks to produce the target color.
How cool is this pen?
Congrats to the 2012 World Series Champion San Francisco Giants and west coast Illustrator John Sherlock Hersey. “Dia de los Gigantes is not necessarily about baseball,” Hersey said, “It’s an image that says ‘I’m a San Franciscan, and I like Latino culture.’ It’s also got a psychedelic element; its eyes look kinda stoney.”

Magic Moments (Not to be confused with the vodka) is taking the instant photo phenomena and introducing it to e commerce.
The app is part of the first ever mobile social media marketplace and you can have your newly designed products sold in the Magic Moments social media community. When a product sells, the creator makes (ONLY!) 5% of the sale. What do you think of this?
The Dave Matthews Band has released their 8th studio album “Away From the World.” The album is produced by Steve Lillywhite who held the same duties on “Crash” and “Before These Crowded Streets.”
What was first to be a collection of older tracks turned into a brand-new album. The video for the song “Mercy” taps into the crowd sourcing trend by compiling images and videos sent in by fans. The sound of the album was best described as “perfect for minimizing road rage.” Enjoy the video above.

The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts announced yesterday it will disperse its entire collection of works from the famed Pop artist through sales and donations.
The profits will be used to bolster the foundation’s grant-making activities, with Christie’s entering a long-term deal to market the works.
"Christie’s will conduct phased sales over a period of years using multiple platforms, including single artist live auctions, private sales and continuing online auctions, bringing a wide range of Warhol’s art - much of which has never before been seen by the public at large - to existing as well as new collectors worldwide," a statement from the two partners said.
The foundation said that some works would be donated to museums. The goal, it said, is to “significantly increase its endowment in order to ensure and expand its long-term support of the visual arts.”
