These days the only thing more impressive than the Washington Nationals pitching rotation is the team’s grasp on social media. On May 20^th the team announced via Twitter the “Ignite your Natitude Tweet-Up.” The promotion is an opportunity to put social media to use and create face-to-face interaction.

The event runs during the July 3^rd game against the San Francisco Giants. The team will designate a section of the stands to their Twitter followers who RSVP via Twitter using the hashtag #IYNT. The designated area will not be decided until tickets go on sale the 22^nd of June. The more RSVPs the better the seats. Additional perks include discounted tickets and a commemorative poster to mark the event.   

Facebook is getting serious about privacy, creating a new position in its Washington, D.C. office: “Director of Privacy.”
