You have to think that the locked-out NFL refs are relishing the moment. As the guys on the field who are paid to be hated by both teams and the fans, they are finally missed and appreciated. 

While the real refs are smiling, the rest of the football-loving world cringes. And what would a good collective cringe be without some genius social media responses? 

Amongst the howls, none stand out as loudly as those from the players. Brandon Spikes and T.J. Lang dropped enough F-bombs in their tweets to make Eddie Murphy blush. According to TechCrunch there were over 1-million zebra bashing tweets during the much criticized final play of the Packers-Seahawks game. T.J.
